BASC is made up of citizens who bike and reside in the Huntsville/Madison area and City of Huntsville (CoH) staff. We meet monthly to discuss city plans and citizen concerns. From these meetings, we find projects where citizens can support bike education, encourage cycling, and support the development of bike/ped infrastructure.
BASC follows the guidance of the BASC by-laws which lists the role of BASC and BASC membership. Below is the list of BASC voting members. Not included in the by-laws are also active bike citizen advocates who attend our monthly meetings, join our BASC Facebook group, and support our projects regularly.
