SUMMARY:Hour of Action for Parking Reform #2
DESCRIPTION:What to expect: https://www.climatechangemakers.org/blog/what-to-expect-on-an-hour-of-action \n\nParking Reform Network and Climate Changemakers are pleased to bring you an Hour of Action for Parking Reform!\nBad parking policies in cities across America require new buildings to offer a minimum number of parking spaces\, even when there’s no need. These policies contribute to urban sprawl and car congestion\, and they inhibit mass transit and walkable cities.\nThe good news? There’s broad consensus that these policies need to go. Our city council members have the power to change these local laws\, and they’re surprisingly reachable.\n\nRegister for the Hour of Action here: https://lu.ma/gofp3lof\n\nEncouraged by our friends in Birmingham\, AL Alabama Urbanists Coalition: Check out their Facebook https://fb.me/e/1rCV1ZjKD
